6:8 Food Pantry
Sauk City, WI
The 6:8 Food Pantry project involved the renovation of an existing building into food pantry storage, kitchen, community dining area, offices and class rooms. In an interest to create a space for many differing uses, the layout focused on maintaining control of access while welcoming public use. In order to change the building occupancy, the attic area required the installation of draftstops. Site considerations included reusing existing parking areas while leaving ample greenspace for the community garden area.
