Beloit College Powerhouse Pool

Ramaker designed and engineered a new competition swimming and diving pool as part of the renovation of the historic Powerhouse Building at Beloit College. With the college’s swim team in mind, the pool had to meet NCAA competition standards. Consisting of eight 25-yard lanes with starting blocks, a 12-foot diving well, two competition diving boards, a sloped entrance ramp for ADA compliant access, and basement pool equipment and chemical rooms, the project was seamlessly integrated into the restored building.

Hampton Inn and Suites

Ramaker designed and engineered a five-story Hampton Inn in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The hotel follows current Hampton Inn prototype and brand standards and features approximately 100 guest rooms as well as underground parking.

CIMS Cloud

CIMS Cloud has now been implemented in over 500 cemeteries. Our GIS team should be proud!

Colburn Park Pool

June 2020 saw the construction of the Colburn Park Pool in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Ramaker provided design work for the renovation of the existing pool basin. In addition to the pool system design, Ramaker also worked with the city to adjust the scope of services and perform an evaluation of the existing bathhouse building.

Our telecommunications team has been busy! We performed work in all 50 states and Puerto Rico in 2020.

Galena Cemeteries

Ramaker implemented CIMS Cloud Cemetery Software at Galena Cemeteries in Galena, Illinois, in July 2020.

The Water Main at Diggerland

In July 2020, Diggerland expanded their construction-themed, family-fun park by adding an outdoor aquatic recreation center. Ramaker provided aquatic design and engineering, as well as MEP engineering services for this exciting project in New Berlin, New Jersey.

Courtyard by Marriott

This 84,820 square foot, 150 guest room, five-story Courtyard Hotel in downtown Sioux City, Iowa is connected to the Sioux City Convention Center. The hotel includes full-service amenities, such as a restaurant, bar, and business and features an upscale design that pays homage to the Fourth Street Historic District location.

Massanutten Waterslides

With help from Ramaker and WhiteWater West, Massanutten Water Park in Massanutten, Virginia, revamped its water park with three new outdoor waterslides. Visitors can now enjoy the reverse freefall slide, a coiled inner tube slide, and a classic inner tube slide.

Projects we’re looking forward to

In the coming year, we anticipate the unveiling of a new swimming instruction facility and a modern multifamily building.

Dolphin Swim Academy

Coming in 2021, Dolphin Swim Academy will boast a 7,500 square foot swimming instruction facility in the Village of Cottage Grove’s Commerce Park. The facility will house swimming instruction opportunities for children, as well as two 25-meter swim lanes for stroke practice and recreational use. From preliminary programming and space planning to building design, engineering, and aquatics design, the Ramaker team will address all architecture and engineering disciplines to transition Dolphin Swim Academy’s well-known presence into a physical location

Trotta Apartments

With its unveiling set for 2021, Ramaker’s first multifamily building design in Dane County, The Trotta in Middleton, Wisconsin, offer modern multifamily living environments. This new 126-unit multifamily development will include one, two, and 3 bedroom units with various floor plans.

Architecture and Engineering Services
