Wild West Waterpark at the Wilderness

The new-and-improved indoor waterpark is fun for all ages! Ransack Ridge is a new children’s play and spray structure that includes slides, water guns, a dump bucket, and a zero-depth entry that provides easy access to the play area. For thrill-seekers, two new dueling slides offer the chance to race head-to-head with friends and family. The waterslide tower that houses the new Twisted Trails and Warped Wagons slides was completely renovated. A new swim-up bar, YeeHaw’s Watering Hole, offers a variety of beverages and ample seating, surrounded by western-themed cabanas. The entire renovation incorporates the waterpark’s signature Wild West theming, with decorations and interactive elements taking on the classic look of the American Frontier. Ramaker provided land surveying, aquatic design, structural and MEP engineering and architectural design for the renovation of the Wild West Waterpark at the Wilderness.

For over 25 years, Ramaker has provided engineering services for the Wilderness. The resort has grown to include six different indoor and outdoor waterparks on the grounds. This progression includes all our A/E services for over 45 pools, more than 30 waterslides, and many features. Ramaker and the Wilderness have a strong relationship, working closely  to ensure that new attractions are set for the well-publicized opening dates.
